What's
a hedgehog?
A hedgehog is a small mammal native to Europe, Asia, and Africa. A hedgehog is a spiny insectavore and the most holy of all creatures. Pictures and info are available in the Shrine of the Holy Hedgehog.
Ummm... Okay. So why are you so obsessed with these small spiny mammals?
You know how some couples have songs, wines, or flowers that are special to them? Well, we have hedgehogs. Besides, the hedgehog is holy!
Do you have names other than the Lord and Lady of Hedgehog?
Yep, we're Jimmy and Andy Brokaw.
So are you like a couple or something?
Yes, we're life mates. We were legally wed on Hedgehog Day (February 2nd) 1999 in Newnan, Georgia.
Where are you from?
Umm... We're from the Navy?
Huh?
That is, not only is Jimmy in the Navy, but both of our fathers hae had full careers (Jimmy's dad is still in!) and it's all very complicated.
So, where did you meet?
We met at London Central High School in High Wycombe, England. Andy is from the class of 1995 and Jimmy graduated kinda between classes in the winter of '95.
Where do you live now?
Mount Vernon, Washington, USA. (The Pacific Northwest - Quite possibly the best place on Earth!)
Do you have any kids?
Oh, yes! Not only do we have three glorious kitty-critters (Meabh and Sheba and Zakara), but we now have our very own little human! His name is Eric Collin Brokaw and you can learn all about him on his web pages.
Can I learn even more about you nifty people?
Yeah, sure! Notes are available on Lady Hedgehog
as well as her biography and you can e-mail either of
us. Jimmy's address
is hedgehog@hedgie.com and Andy's
address is ladyhedgehog@hedgie.com. Also, Andy has a blog on livejounral.com, under the name ladyhedgehog.
